The new Gretna Complex is an exciting new adventure and project coming to this New Orleans community. The local brewery, Port Orleans Brewing, will bring a second location to Gretna. This will be a great addition to the new lifestyle development close to the Mississippi River in Gretna. 
“We’re bringing something big to Gretna,” said Don Noel, president and managing partner of Port Orleans Brewing.
The new development is planned to be located where a parking lot currently sits at Huey P. Long Avenue and 2nd Street. The development is a two-story building with a third-floor penthouse. It is set to house a restaurant, a barbershop, and the pub. There will also be a large greenspace for outdoor entertainment and a three-story parking garage.
The project is slated to begin in early 2024 and will be completed in mid-2025. The total budget for the project is set at over $20 million and both developers and the city officials are working side by side on the project.
